This book has good truth and explanation regarding the difference between a believer in Jesus Christ's inner and outer man. This mostly in regard and helpful to those who are earnestly serving the Lord or intend to. It explains the way to brokenness in our own spirit so that the Holy Spirit indwelling each believer will be more fully released within us and so give us each a more fulfilling and genuinely helpful road to service for the Lord.
I especially liked Watchman Nee's thoughts on meekness, the fear of the Lord and our own character. At times the Christian life of service may seem to be too tough when attemping to relate with and to those we serve. However, there is the reassurance that despite our human failings, we can have the
"confidence that the Lord Himself will add His virtues to us" (page 93).We are in partnership with our Lord through aid of the Holy Spirit. In Him we can trust as we work out our progressive sanctification here on earth, en route to Heaven. Praise the Lord.
