Book Review - What We Found In Hallelujah - By Vanessa Miller - Publication Date: 29 November 2022

This is a wonderful story of God's redeeming love and power working in people even if and when they've lost their faith and trust in Him.  I like it that author Vanessa Miller included many Scriptures and thoughtful "mini speeches" in the minds and mouths of her characters, especially the loveable Pastor O'Dell.  There is much about lying, well-kept secrets, prejudice, forgiveness, hurricanes and beach houses, prayer and so much more that gives this book a good wholesome spine (pun intended).  It was easy to like Nic and I enjoyed getting to know Ruby, Hope and Faith as they struggled about Trinity.  In the end, the threads of the story tie nicely together and despite the deep sadnesses their faith brings measures of healing and happiness.  Teenagers as well as adults will appreciate this Hallelujah story.
