Lord's Day Devotion - Purification Provided (Hebrews 1:1-2, 3b)

 

There is a very important and unshakeable message from God related to the unshakeable Kingdom of God.  It's this, that the Son, Jesus,

"...provided purification for sins..." (Hebrews 1:3b).

This is the message God wants us to know and do something about.  If there is purification for sins available, it must mean we need it and should avail ourselves thereof.

There are so many messages bombarding us daily from WhatsApp, Instagram and so on.  It can be so overwhelming.  Some are just chitchat but there are a few important ones in that 'haystack'.

Make note of it that there is the one that is the most important of all and that is the purpose for which Jesus even came into the world.  He wanted to show us that Jesus is God and that He loves us, so He died on the cross for our sins; thus the purification provided.  This, so we can have salvation that brings eternal life through Jesus.

When we accept Jesus as Savior, that means we got His message AND read it.  It's like getting a friend's WhatsApp message and then his being able to see the two blue ticks.  Your friend knows you've seen and hopefully read the message.

The BIG difference is that the message of Jesus is the most important message of all time.  Will you accept the purification for sins He has provided for you?

If you do, you will have taken hold of the unshakeable message and of the Kingdom of God that cannot be shaken.

Do not delay, accept Jesus, God's Son today.  Then you can pray as you partake of the broken bread and drink from the cup of wine this Lord's Day ...

Jesus, I'm so happy to have received Your message.  Thank You for all You've done for me, especially loving me and dying for my sins.  I accept You as my Savior and Lord.  Thank You.  Amen.
