Lord's Day Devotion - Hallelujah, Amen!

It was quite euphoric to listen to the Keith and Kristyn Getty song, Come, Christians, Join to Sing, I felt.  It almost felt like I was in heaven with the multitudes of the redeemed before the throne of our Redeemer.  What will it be in time to come!  We can only get earthly glimpses through such songs; "Hallelujah, Amen!"

I'm looking forward to that day when we can all be together with Christ in our 'forever home'.  Are you?

One Lord's Day when the apostle John was "in the Spirit," he was privileged to have a good look around Heaven sometime before he left the world.  He saw living creatures and elders fall down in worship the "one who sat upon the throne."  Angels chimed in too; thousand upon thousands of them.

Are you geting the glorious picture of what we believers in Jesus Christ have to look forward to?  All praise be ...

"... to Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever" (see Revelation 5:12 ESV)!

"Hallelujah, Amen," as they sing in chorus in Come, Christians, Join to Sing.

This Lord's Day may all praise and honor spring forth like an effervescent fountain, in all thanksgiving and gratitude to our Savior Jesus Christ.  Let's remember Him in His death and resurrection, brothers and sisters-in-Christ.

Partake of the broken bread symbol of His body broken for us.  Drink of the cup of wine symbol of His blood shed for us; His life blood which purchased us.  It is the value of our souls.  Burst forth and sing, then.  Let the joy of the Lord and all He has done for you, be your strength.

Praise Him.  Sing, Christians, sing!

All Praise, glory and honor be to You, oh Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.  We sing Your praises from joyful, thankful hearts.  Thank You so much ... Looking forward to giving You our praise for all eternity ahead.  In Your name Lord Jesus we give You our praise and worship.
